Swapnanil Ray is a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Year CS Undergrad at the Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM). He is currently working as an Engineering Intern at Caravel Labs, where he has gained valuable experience in software development and R&D. Swapnanil has a strong passion for technology and has demonstrated a keen interest in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Neural Networks. Swapnanil has a proven track record of being an exceptional team player and leader. He is the Lead of GDSC-IEM (2021-22) and Student Welfare Head, where he has been instrumental in organizing various technical and non-technical events. His excellent communication skills and ability to manage people have made him a valuable asset to any team. During his internship at the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, Swapnanil worked for the AI department under the Computer Informatics Group. He learned about Neural Networks and their applications in detail and implemented a project on the American Sign Language. The Neural Networks model he prepared and trained accurately recognizes the American Sign Language. Any image fed to the model is predicted to its corresponding alphabet. Swapnanil's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering from IEM. He completed his School education from Birla High School, where he studied Science with Computer Science. Swapnanil's technical skills include expertise in Software Engineering, Neural Networks, and Artificial Intelligence. He has relevant experience of 0.78 years, and his passion for technology and eagerness to learn make him an excellent candidate for any technical role.
